Frieze London
October 15-19, 2025
The Regent’s Park
The presentation will consist of sculptural objects by Ide exhibited on a low plinths paired with wall pieces on linen and wood by Munar. Both artists will develop a new body of work for the presentation. Displayed across a booth, works by Munar and Ide will initiate a vibrant, coequal dialogue between each artist’s personal imagery.
The dual presentation seeks to essentially unearth the theme of landscapes which are led by imaginative interpretations. Both Ide and Munar, albeit working with different media, critically engage with a deeply personal nature that landscapes invoke. Be it north-east Asia, continental Europe or Balearic Islands, rich memories recorded in the natural environment may prompt universal impressions of beauty and introspective travel. This presentation therefore aims to open up those alleyways of vision, offering an insight into rhythms of the world where human existence is held and celebrated.
