Linda Lach

Galeria Wschód is pleased to announce representation of Linda Lach (b. 1995, Warsaw, Poland).

Linda Lach’s practice explores topics of recurrent translations and intimacy through performative sculptures, installations, video and poetry utilizing materials such as wood, leather, cotton, plastic. Her material gestures expand the presence and extend the social function of sculpture and performance by focusing on atemporality, self-exploitation and acts of brutality, which exist beyond the categories of safety and uncertainty. Concerned with the current political peril of Eastern Europe Lach, through her practice, navigates the ongoing symbolic dissolution and engages the inevitable reactionary reterritorialization of our reality.

Linda will be participating at Wschód’s residency program in the Naples’ space this year. In 2027 she will hold her first solo exhibition with the gallery.
