Conceived as both an extension of the exhibition and an independent object, the catalog brings together documentation, archival materials, film stills and texts to form a shared narrative. The publication combines photographs of Jan Domicz’s work, selected stills from John Smith’s films Home Suite and Dad’s Stick, as well as photographs and drawings from the Foksal Gallery Archive.

The graphic design organizes materials originating from different periods and media while preserving their individual character. The publication’s layout lets the reader move freely between images, documentation, and text, creating successive layers of a story about the exhibition, the gallery space, and its history. The cover features an archival photograph of cats that lived at Foksal Gallery in the 1980s.
