Programmed by curator and writer Krzysztof Kosciuczuk, Black Box is a space for film and video works that, over the course of the coming year, examine, reconfigure, and challenge the theme of nature within the context of urban reality as well as they ways it is construed, inhabited, and repurposed. It redraws the lines that cut across the natural and human-made, reconsidering the genre of “nature documentary” as a practice based on a seemingly detached observation of the non-human.
